I am delighted to welcome you into my world, a space where vintage meets elegance, authenticity, but above all, a personal story that I want to share with you.
🌿 A second-hand story, since always
My name is Agnès, I'm 54 years old, and if there's one thing that's always been with me, it's second-hand goods.
As a child, I wore my cousins' sweaters and t-shirts, I loved my great aunts' scarves, and I let myself be enveloped by the softness of the knits made by the grannies around me. My mother, on the other hand, spent hours at her sewing machine, transforming a simple piece of fabric into a unique piece.
At 15, I was already stealing my dad's oversized plaid shirts to pair with my first skinny jeans. I loved playing with styles, mixing masculine and feminine, comfort and elegance. I've always had a weakness for bags and jewelry, those little details that tell a story and give character to an outfit.
Today, I'm continuing this tradition with my 12-year-old daughter, who, even though she regularly succumbs to the call of new things and current trends, never hesitates to happily delve into mom and dad's wardrobes! Because fashion is also a story of sharing and passing on knowledge.
Cheap & Chic Dressing is all that: a boutique where each piece has a story, where you can delve into yesterday's wardrobe to create today's look, and why not tomorrow's.
👗 Vintage fashion, a state of mind
I like to be well dressed , but I also like my clothes to be comfortable and practical . For me, fashion has never been about brands or trends, but about feeling.
Why limit yourself to just one style when you can have fun changing it up whenever you like? Vintage offers infinite freedom:
✨ Pair an 80s jacket with raw jeans,
✨ Wear a flowing dress with offbeat ankle boots,
✨ Accessorize a simple outfit with a strong piece of jewelry…
It is this free and joyful approach that I wish to share with you.
🛍️ From reselling at garage sales to my own shop: a no-brainer
Before officially launching, I resold to people around me, at garage sales, or simply gave away what I no longer wore. My goal was never to hoard, but rather to circulate, to extend the life of clothes and prevent them from being forgotten.
A few months ago, when I discovered Vinted , I saw it as an opportunity to go further, to expand my circle. But very quickly, I felt the desire to create my own space, a more personal, more polished boutique, where each piece could be showcased as it deserves.
Cheap & Chic Dressing is not just a boutique, it's a way of seeing fashion:

✨ Make fashion a free pleasure: choose what truly suits us.
✨ Extend the history of clothing by passing it on, rather than abandoning it.
Secondhand isn't just an economical or ecological choice; it's also a gateway to a more unique, more sincere fashion. Each piece has a soul, a past, and deserves a second life.
I select my clothes and accessories with care, always prioritizing quality, cuts, and materials that last. I hunt everywhere, in France and elsewhere in Europe, always with the idea of offering pieces that deserve to be worn again and again.
📌 With Cheap & Chic Dressing, I wanted to create a place where you don't just buy clothes, but where you adopt pieces of history.
🌱 And soon… An Upcycling side!
Even though I sometimes repair a small hole, I don't have the talent of some seamstresses or designers....
Because I like to go even further in a responsible and creative approach, I am planning a collaboration with a designer specialized in upcycling . Soon, you will be able to discover an exclusive line right here, where vintage pieces will be enhanced thanks to talent and creativity.
In the meantime, I will offer you some pieces made by my mother.
